In my novel, The Wind Under the Door, my main character is a collage artist. In between drafts and during the months leading up to its publication, I tried my hand at the medium, interpreting a single line or phrase from each of the book’s 14 chapters and epilogue. The project, featured below, offered some additional insights into my character and his process. It also provided a much needed distraction before the book’s release.
